Constructive posts
Make sure when you post at NRL RANT that your posts are constructive. This means using Capital letters, full stops, punctuation, correct spelling etc. By no means should you post like you are on MSN eg - "yeh i think da dragns hav a gr8 chance dis yr 2 win da premiership." Posts like this will from now on be deleted if too hard to understand and if users continue to post like this suspension notices will be issued.

No advertising
No advertising at all across all forums except obviously the Links section. That is the place for all links. If you are found to have posted a link thats not in the links section or caught spamming users via the Private Messaging system this will result in a warning. Next time you do the same thing or something worthy of dismissmal you will be suspended indefinately or banned permantely. Links in your signature are okay but not with large fonts.

General rules and terms and conditions

You may use the NRL RANT forums for lawful purposes only and you may not transmit messages which are threatening, abusive, defamatory, vulgar, obscene or otherwise objectionable. You may not transmit messages which encourage conduct that constitutes a criminal offence or infringe upon the publicity or privacy rights or any other rights of any person or party. If you engage in any conduct which might, in NRL RANT opinion, inhibit or restrict any other user's enjoyment of the Forums or Private Messages, or violate the above restrictions, NRL RANT may remove your posting and/or cancel your access to these areas of NRL. NRL RANT, in its sole discretion, shall have the right to determine whether messages are in violation of these guidelines.

By posting messages on the bulletin boards or chat areas or forums, you are granting NRL RANT a royalty free, perpetual, non-exclusive and irrevocable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform and display any posting by you (in whole or in part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media or technology now known or hereafter developed.

The Majority of NRL RANT's forums and chat areas are for discussion and debate. You may not use NRL RANT's forums or private message functions to post or transmit advertisements or commercial solicitations of any kind.

NRL RANT maintains the right, in its sole discretion, to edit, refuse to post or remove any material submitted to or posted on the fourms which NRL RANT believes is (i) in violation these guidelines, or (ii) irrelevant or outdated.

You will select a name to use in connection with your postings on the forums. However, you may not use a user name (or e-mail address) (i) with the intent of impersonating another person; (ii) belonging to another person without his or her consent; (iii) in violation of the intellectual property rights of any person; or (iv) that NRL RANT deems to be offensive. Whenever you post, your message will be automatically marked with your NRL RANT user name.
